Sway Bar made it off today, took a drive after removal and aside from no more clunking and what feels like a softer ride I see no difference in what the drive was like before. Probably b/c the sway bar brackets only had 1 bolt aside and the endlinks were absolutely trashed. Anyways, pics.

Plugged yet another tire today. I noticed a slow leak over the last few days so took the tire of to investigate.

Thankfully it was dead center and should be fine. I've never had a tire that picked up as much shit as these do.

Got it plugged and got the Viair out and topped off the pressure.

However it did give me the drive to put all my tire plug tools in one spot. These milwaukee bags are great for the money.

You do know that @Discount Tire does FREE flat repairs with RMA approved patches from the inside, right? Those tires also have their certificates on them, so if the tire wasn't patchable, they would replace the tire and labor at no additional cost?

Had a laboring start today when I left work. My first thought was battery connections.

This is what I found on the positive.
    20230516_180146.jpg

Got that all cleaned up and we'll see how it is in the AM. It's not always the glamorous work, but the day to day bullshit that keeps them on the road.

Side note, love this Hart brand 1/4 drive ratchet set from Walwart. I added the extensions and swivel. I keep it with me all the time.

That reminds me, I need to remove my battery and fuse box, clean up the metal underneath and repaint. It looks like the battery leaked acid at some point in it's life and stripped the paint off.

No build updates lately. But here is a pic dump from a week in Orlando, a few days at Disney and an overnight in Savannah.

It wash day for the GX which means the usual array of ChemicalGuys products. However I recently picked up a bottle of 303 Protectant to treat the plastics & vinyl. Albeit the only vinyl and plastics to be treated is the cover to the OVS 270 awning and the Dobinsons snorkel however the results were very encouraging with minimal effort.

In the photo below you can see a half assed 50/50 with treated side being towards the front and the untreated side towards the back.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I use this and can say it’s the best I have found thus far.

What all do you use it on? Very curious as to what the possibilities are. Seems like a quality product.

Any interior plastics. Except floor mats and gas/brake pedals.

Shit was stay matte black and not super shiny for weeks. UV protection as well to protect that notorious dash that likes to crack.

Man I use it on all my plastics throughout my interior. I also use it on the exterior as well. I have used it on my KTMs, and fenders on the Yamaha quad.
I have used it one rubber hoses to bring some life back to them.
I sprayed it on my FJC powder coated wheels, just to see what it did. Gave them a sheen as expected.

I even use it to detail my fleet of mowers after they are degreased.

Damn I didn't even think about interior plastics.
