Dual wire switch instal 911

Ok so I bought this dual switch for my 2020 taco sport
It has 4 wires
Red, green ,blue, black ,and yellow.
The wire harness has black, blue, white, red
Freaking clueless on how to wire it.
Anyone out there can give me a quick hook up.

 

It might help if you explained what this switch is for.

Sounds like a back light with directional gismo.

 

So you bought a switch that didn't come with the lightbar?

And said switch has no instructions?

And what is the 'dual' function that the switch provides?

Is the light designed to accommodate that?

 

The colors are meaningless without instructions telling you what they mean. They're not even remotely universal.

 

Like others have said, we have no idea how to wire it.

Is the switch double pole or single pole?
Is the switch double throw or single throw? Does it have a center-off position?
Does it have built-in illumination?

With 4 wires, it could be double-pole single throw. Or single pole with internal illumination...

What does your light bar require?

Makes and models for the light bar and the switch would be helpful.

 

First off: Red+green+blue+black+yellow=5 wires, not 4.
Second off: Find a friend who knows a thing or two about wiring electronics and offer them a case of beer or some pokemon cards or something in exchange for wiring your light. This is an easy install with a DMM.

 

I'm guessing the wife found the instructions on the back of the package that the switch came in and wired it up for him while he was cleaning the bathroom.
