I have a Gamo 177 Whisper in the garage. Been a long time since I've shot it, main purpose was in case I was working outside and needed something in a hurry.

Straight Shooters Precision Airguns used to sell sample packs of pellets so that you didn't have to buy tins of each. Just checked and he is retiring and doesn't have any left. The nerve of some people! Yeah springers are a different world. I have a Benjamin springer upstairs. Had to wipe the dust off it to take a picture since I got the PCP it has set idle.

The PCP is a Benjamin also. Lower end in the PCP world but still spendy to me. Friend of mine got a FX Crown after he shot mine and his cost almost 4x mine. For that little bit of accuracy he gains wasn't willing to pay that much. But still someday....

Look at the bright side you could be ammo testing to feed a couple of 22's

They both have new scopes and shades since then.

Of course they both like Center-X the best. Don't ask me how much it cost or how money is on the table and I will tell you no lies... And it varies by lot number.

I always wanted a Beeman (or HW) when I was shooting springers, a R7 or "spring" for a R9 ;) Great gun and choice Martin!

Didn’t try to sweet talk the judge and get off for good behavior and a clean record?

Years back my dad was a Beeman dealer. They aren't the fanciest but they're solid.
