do you have the tire clearance to the links, fenders, etc for the additional angle if you swapped to reid knuckles?

Prob will have to do work to firewall area for a full bump turn. Everything else should be close I think but who knows.

Really hard to film while making sure the truck doesn't grenade but picked up jr from park and had about 10 cops on way home chillin in random places so had to make a little vid on my own street which is like completely vertical. Can get an idea of where things are currently. 5 psi to about. 30mph there.

I was just thinking about adding a second BOV. I prefer a smooth blow off like a wave crash sound vs the phshhtttt. Not a fan. I had a tial 44 on my evo and it sounded so good. I have a tial knockoff 50 mm now and it sounds like a honda setup only 10x louder.

I can pull into a stall between 2 cars if the turn is wide. My buddy kp60 definitely turn better than mine. I blame the tires

Need to try putting my steering arm above the tie rod and see if it makes a big diff. If so, I may change some stuff around.

Got the damn anti wrap done finally. Kinda rushed the welding but powder should cover most.

In theory, this design should be stronger and have more push down force than straight bar up top.

Worked on fuel map and enrichment for like 3 hours and tried to add 10% to a section and added .01 vs .101 and couldn't undo it. Took 30 min to get truck to run again. Map is shit at idle now but it runs clean. Idles at 14.5 cruises at 14.7 and runs a little rich into boost. For anyone who wants to see what the holley stuff looks like.

    Fuel graph

Data log from a little pull. All the stats are on left side at full boost of 5.5lb. Wastegate spring needs to be changed. I think AFR is a little choppy cause ebay turbo is leaking oil and hitting wideband.

What happens when you can't get a tac to break free and you are in the wrong frame of mind for fabricating..Then you use the driveway to beat the shit out of your muffler.

Just caught up a bunch… this is still awesome, and even better considering that the (sorta*) finish is so close.

    * I know “finished” isn’t really a thing…

Yeah, these types of projects are never ending. I drive it everyday but im in the tuning process which consists of data logging and spending 30 min changing map then do it again. Don't really post that stuff cause nobody on here seems to be too interested in efi tuning unless its toyota usable.

Nah fuck that I love learning about efi tuning. There's always more you can learn in that field. Post away

You can play with all the efi software for free off the websites. Holley you just download the terminator x file and you can mock tune. You can't see the results but its still kinda cool to build maps.

This is basically what I have been doing for the past 2 weeks. Make a little pull under boost and look at log. Which looks like this w whatever parameters I want to see. This was a light throttle run with new ignition map I had to build from scratch cause Holley one was crazy sketch.

    DATA LOG 5-2.jpg

No writing and some diff parameters. You do a data log pull, then overlay it on maps like below.
    Screenshot (8).jpg

Overlay (this is for ignition but same for fuel. Then I have to go smooth it out on the graph below this.

    Screenshot (4).jpg

Graphs - This is where you make the small changes. (ignition still too high and map is like half done but good on the wot stuff)

    Screenshot (5).jpg

Fuel graph. This one I started fresh on too and is same, bout half done. Still really flat and basic. (This map has like 5mpg at cruise right now and 25 at wot- wide open throttle)

Looking like you're on the right path though, even have the ign advance retard a bit at peak torque (lotta guys miss that).

Yeah, that ignition map is new and kinda only done on the idle, vacuum, and to about 5 psi. Once I get into a full pull I will prob drop the timing down at 3000-3500 then bump it up a degree or so after the load subsides. Right now the fuel is still not great so don't want to waste my time w exact timing. I just changed the plugs to a bit hotter and gapped them tighter. The timing line is a little high up. I can't remember if that is too much or too little timing? Idk if you know that?
