I don't have a need for one in the spare, I have on board air:D so as long as there's one under there I can air it up lol.
    Just was stating my observations:thumbsup:

I am keeping the other 4 working though, it's nice knowing when a tire is low before it's low enough to cause damage. Where I drive the likelihood of slow leaks is high.

My boss had a blowout towing a trailer in his Duramax. The warning light gave him enough time (about 30 secs) to get out of the fast lane and onto the shoulder of the freeway before it exploded. Absolutely saved him from a serious accident

Thats what a lot of people don't understand. It's not designed to be a nanny light, it's designed to give some advance notice so you can slow down and get out of traffic before it blows

    I have no idea.
None of my scanners support TPMS.
And I don’t have a computer to run TechStream.

You might try adding a 5th ID with 000000
See if it takes it, if it does, you should be good to go.
That code won’t set the light, so it should stay off.

It's already set to all zeros if I recall correctly, that's what I meant by not programmed.

I can agree, they are beneficial.
I personally just didn’t want to spend $90 each for sensors.
I don’t have the ability to program them, or break down a tire.

I my regret it one day. But I hope not.

Gotcha. I stand corrected then. For some reason I thought our trucks could do two sets.

As I said above if you use the sensors that support cloned ID's you can theoretically have 2 sets and the truck won't know the difference when you change between them providing you keep the set you aren't using out of range of the truck's receiver.
