Oh shit thats a nice ass 200

Yeah i fixed the fob issue today. None of the interior lights worked, turned out the fuse was blown. Replaced the fuse and let the truck sit overnight. Walked out today and programmed the remote no problem (i have the sequence memorized since i tried so many times lol)

Andd i have techstream on the way so i can do more than just scan codes.

Hope you get that brake issue fixed man. Im pretty sure the PO just replaced that for me. I think if you hit up ih8mud.com you'll find a solution

Mud is why I’m worried about it lol. There’s no problems with the brakes yet. It’s just got me worrying about things that aren’t a problem!

Yesterday my Stainless steel heater T's came in and i swapped out the old plastic ones that were on. One of them had some coolant residue so i suspected that it was going bad. It was lol. Luckily caught it in time and got them swapped out. The OEM clamps dont work so some good ole hose clamps i had in the garage did the trick.

It looks like the valve cover gaskets are weeping but when i detail the engine bay this weekend i'll confirm that.

Also Swapped the Blown speakers/Tweeters in the front (common issue with these) with some replacement JBLs from Crutchfield. I love how they ship all the adaptors so everything is plug and play.

The Ironman 4x4 drawer system should be here today and my custom floormats for the front (laser cut apparently) on Friday.

Got some new rubber coming for the land cruiser. I hear nothing bad about remold tires and these will be warrantied so i aint got nothing to lose sending it. Also, this'll stop me from modding the LC since it'll be on stock tires still lol

Seeing how the Passenger (the one that normally breaks down) was already breaking into pieces with me taking it off the hoses was super cheap insurance.

No leaks yet but i'll keep an eye on it for sure.

Should probs make a build thread on IH8Mud since i spend alot of time there too.

Tried cleaning up and e cerci sing my sunroof yesterday and got it stuck open in the tilt position for a while. Had to “help” it back into position while pushing the button.

i need to start replacing some suspension bushings that are probably dry rotted.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Smart taking care of all the heater hose connections. That’s what leaves ya stranded in these older LCs. Everything else is bomb proof.
I changed out my booster on my ‘76 FJ40, after pulling out of the driveway backwards…I lost all brakes, and went thru my privacy fence. Luckily I went right thru the posts, and just punched out the panel of pickets.
But yeah, if the booster may be an issue, replace that sucker. Got to have solid brakes or feel solid about them anyways.

Yeah i hear the sunroof is another failure point on these. Mine is operating as it should but i def dont want it stuck lol.

Yeah i figure if im just proactive it'll keep me grounded. I really want to make this a OEM+ build and get 250k more miles outta this thing if not more.

Also got the Ironman 4x4 drawers in. If the instructions were clearer it'd be a 3/10. Instead it was a 5/10 lol. It was still easy enough and having everything organized is nice.

You will many years out of it, and those motors can see those miles without a problem.
My FJ80 had a boat load of miles on it, and road like new. I got some buddies in GA that own a LC Shop and I have seen a lot of these trucks come thru over the years. Treat them right and they will last. My 1976 fj40 still rides out!

Yep, I have been with them since they started it up. They are my wheelin camping buddies. It’s been a fun ride…lost count of the cruisers I have owned.

Looking for a green 200series to build soon enough :)

I got an 07 FJC I am going to sell to help fund my next build.

That Amazon Green is a super clean color

I had a chance to buy several lx570s but this one was too clean. And honestly i like the land cruiser way better
