    I just ordered a black ARE shell for my LR today! Do you know what "black" that is?? My topper dealer said they can only do gloss black and am worried the gloss might stand out. Yours looks great though

    Sorry for the delayed response, it’s a gloss black. I believe it’s ARE’s paint to match for the black taco. I’ll post a picture of the data plate for the topper with the paint code. Hopefully that helps.

    I know leer will let you choose any color as long as you give them the paint code. I'm pretty sure ARE does the same. My 2nd generation is metallic Grey and I ordered the 3rd Gen metallic black for my topper.

    You can always call and ask for the paint code they put down

    Finally found a shell for a good deal, have been looking since I got this truck. All of the ones I’ve wanted have sold to quick. Excited for the vented windoors. I had planned on painting or wrapping it. But the two tone is starting to grow on me.
