    Hello! First timer here....

I just replaced my license plate lights on a 3rd Gen Tacoma (2023) with LEDs from Tacoma Lifestyle - full housing replacement version.

I am assuming a fuse likely blew because they are not working, nor is my left turn signal on the mirror.

The turn signal works on both the headlight and tail light as well as the right turn signal. So, the only things not working right now are the left turn signal and the license plate lights.

I had also installed the Smoked Turn Signals from Tacoma Lifestyle many months ago and they had been working fine until just now after changing those license plate lights.

Does anyone know which fuse/relay this is in the truck? I am having a hard time figuring it out.

    Thanks,

    JZ

Thank you. I checked the fuse and it was good, replaced it anyways just to see. Nothing new changed. I ended up replacing the turn signal since I had an extra set in the garage and it works now. Still need to figure out why these license plate lights aint turning on...

    Take care all!

Polarity? Are you able to rotate the bulb in the socket or the wire?

plug them directly to the battery and see if they work. If yes, most likely the polarity is reversed ( see my comment on the mount bike lamp)
I would plug those old back and buy a quality LED bulbs and return them.

Sounds good, thank you. They were free lol

I think I will just get some LED bulbs for the OEM housings.

It has a connector that can be "switched".
