All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Had this happen a good bit on my 1190r when the battery was weak, or dead and I started it up from sitting for awhile.

    What kinda bike is it?

Exhaust for the Grom came in. It’s a Zoom high mount. This shits going to be looooud. I’m pretty happy with the overall quality though. Nice welds, nice rivets, good packaging.

I think I have a baffle laying around that I’m hoping will fit and should still flow decently.

    More video content right there.

Look up the Fuel Exhaust comparison the EnglishBikerDan did on YouTube. Best sound comparison format I've seen. Love to see something similar for your Grom.

not good for slow technical trails like any stock big bore 4 stroke. Probably great for everything else. I'm thinking a 250 to 350 KTM or Husky would be sweet for trail riding / enduro.

I'd buy that exhaust for the logo alone.

Bike is sold and gone as of this afternoon.

I'm not happy about it, but glad I don't have to store it in a dusty garage for who knows how long.

Weather has been poo. No riding lately. :(

Sad that you had to let it go, but that just means you get to shop for a new bike after the relo.

Got my eyes on a Triumph Tiger ADV. Probably the 900 Rally but also the Seattle dealers has a used 800 or two.

I want to do all of it. I had planned to commute to work, but it's been raining periodically each day, so my road is soup.

The more technical it gets the better a lighter bike will serve you. When I get in the knarly shit I take my 250xcw…I had an older 300, that was insanely powerful. My current 250 is a 2018 and is rock solid. Way easier to throw around than my 500.

I will say that I really liked my 350xcfw, however, it was like the 500, and you could feel that extra weight.

I honestly thought I'd hate the logo and take it off, but its not bad in person. I do need to do some finessing on it though, it doesn't sit flat on it very well. Very clearly cut flat and curved terribly onto the exhaust itself. Shouldn't be bad to do though.

The baffle/restrictor it ships with is laughable. So restrictive. I have one from my F800GS that I think will work if I cut it down a bit.. OD is too big, but I think if I can cut the end at the right spot i can flatten it and bolt it in.. idk, we'll see. Worst case scenario I can probably buy a more free flowing one on Amazon.

Included “baffle” that’s just a restrictive diameter screen:

    2C658C3D-397C-46B9-87FF-51CF6E44D3C3.jpg

this is one I have leftover from another exhaust i’m going to try and make work:

    7BC368A5-CB32-441C-A1C1-35D6A46745A2.jpg
    D49D32D2-C4DE-4260-8BEC-D486D11FFE65.jpg

Bigger diameter, more flow in theory, and two direction changes should help keep it pretty quiet.
