I would take that front end home and make some yard art out of it. Maybe build a raised planter bed behind/inside of it.

Oh there will be some mods all right
Things I've posted before but were most definitely worth a revisit today, especially since my hiking partner had never seen them. Also, I've never seen such a large amount of driftwood in one place before.20230505_134223~2.jpg

I don’t know if everyone has a collection of the top 100 days (in one’s life) but I found this raft chain on one of those days. I was camping on islands in Moosehead Lake with a gal from school. It was one of those bluebird days in late summer and that giant lake was like glass. Just us in a canoe and the distant sound of an occasional loon. While paddling some distance from shore, she informs me that a plane was coming. I hadn’t heard it yet but it was a B1 Lancer flying fast and low right at us I swear it dipped a wing as they snuck over. Wow!

I kept a long piece of driftwood I found that day that we log our kids height on the back of these days…4C35A53F-6AB2-415D-9245-916DCDC3D584.jpg

I found the jack stand in the woods too but under somewhat more ordinary circumstances. Some lease hunter hid it in the middle of a grassy two track. Maybe to keep folks out of their spot? IDK. They hunt somewhere else now.

Must have been some kind of summer camp? Or Boy Scout facility? How far was it from roads, other buildings, etc.?

Now that's cool. Talk about a legit sandlot. How was the condition of the field? Still clear or overrun with trees?

The local kids should go clear it out and have their own secret field.

Nothing to suggest scale. Can you take a pic with a tape measure, ruler, or quarter next to it?
