If I had to pick a spot for a ding, this would be it. Least noticeable.

All shops that do insurance work use filler. Even Toyota certified ones. I've worked at many certified shops BMW, Tesla, Toyota, etc. They all use filler on repaired panels, bumpers, and on some replacement panels like 1/4 panels. There is no way around it. Especially when the insurance company only approves to repair the panel, instead of replace.

In the case of this roof repair. There will be filler involved if it goes through insurance. Even if the tech gets a near perfect metal finish, filler will be used at the end.

I would PDR as best as possible knowing it's not going to be 100% perfect and replace the fin. Compound and polish any scratches. Over time you'll forget about it and could probably trade it in semi repaired without dealer even knowing. Sh*t Happens; Life goes on. :notsure:

Wife#1 was 2 years older than me. Wife #2 was born the year I got my drivers license. I’ve gotta say, I’m happier with the current one.

    Headliner is a non-issue, as long as they're not a heavy-handed tard.

How's this even happen? No safety sensors or remote was activated while backing out/pulling in?

I was rushing. Wife closed door on accident is the real story. Just didn’t feel like explaining it. Sensor went off but I was moving too fast. Just as much my fault. But … I would like not to live it over and over.

Make the dents look smaller and then let a bodyshop see it for the final fix- estimate will cost less.

    Work in progress...
I would heat up the area with a hair dryer and then pull up on the antenna. It probably won't work but it won't hurt. Don't try to rip the antenna off, just give it a good steady pull.
