Anybody go back to the first pages of this thread? Kinda a trip. You think the OP thought it would get up to 13k pages over 7 years

As I do not have the patience to look though 13000 pages, at least tonight ... maybe it will not be a privacy violation for the moderators to tell us that fact.

I belong to several auto/truck enthusiast forums and every one of them has a similar thread. Been around for years and years. No idea where the idea originated though.

So how does it feel, driving around with fresh Lucas in the diff? Have you noticed a difference with the higher weight oil?

Looks great! Okay so let me ask this question, I got a cement truck, but wouldn't red decal lettering, like yours, in the engine look better than cement color decals of the same type?

Um the fact that is all thats inside the control box is crazy. I was going to relocate the entire box. Although I assume you may have trouble with harbor freight if you need warranty support.

just one of the loudest/cheapest air horns money can buy! i paired it with a hella supertone low-tone horn for a little more well-rounded tone.

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/334516567424?epid=770321713

lol. right, warranty. i bought it last year.

i actually did need to call them-- seems someone screwed up in the factory, and the green wire coming off the little control box is the remote control receiver wire. but someone had tied it into the ground connection, and then cut it afterwards.

so i had to call them to make sure that the wire was supposed to be floating like it was for proper operation. once they escalated the case to a 'senior' support staff, he pulled up the diagram, confirmed it was the remote antenna, and i was on my way.

i'm not sure i follow your line of thinking, can you describe it better? the handle is directly below the front support bar, and rotates forward.

my current idea is to route/dremel/weld/cut or otherwise hack up another handle to give capability to extend it, and then use a combination of socket extensions and universal joints routed through that support bar to somewhere more accessible, likely at the top of the grille. from there, i'll re-adapt the socket extension to some sort of knob

either way, i'm waiting for some 'grant funding' to clear in the project account before i order some replacement handles. from there, i can figure out what kind of material it is(metal, but it appears to be cast aluminum at first look), and i can try a few different options on some sacrificial pieces.

then i'd have to throw it away!

Silly question. Where do you upload your photos and do you post them using the photo icon or do you send it as an attachment?
