I'd say pull the spring out, heat the end and bend 90* and put it back together.

Would you also re-hardened it for longevity?

Do any of you have recommendations for 3rd gen seat covers that aren't priced unbelievably high? So far the only somewhat reasonable option is Rough Country but neoprene makes me too sweaty lol. I can't believe how much specific fitment seat covers have increased in price.

Wet Okole, Caltrend, and Clazzio are popular on the 4Runner forum. I'm not sure how the pricing is, though.

I’m looking at buying a used set of bartact seat covers. Not sure how much they are new, but used is still pretty pricey $200. That’s if the guy agrees to ship.

See that's what I'm saying, like $200 should be the new price lol

Fun fact I know because of being raised in Hawaii; okole means butt.

I have Bartact. Yes, they are pricey. I paid just over $300.00 six years ago. Now they're over $400.00 . The fit is excellent. They color match my interior perfectly.
    Would i buy again? Yes

Just did a quick search - seems like a few local places might carry them: Ace Hardware, Farm & Fleet, Home Depot.

Blazing Blue Pearl. Debadged. Gloss black tailgate inserts. Thinking about Katzkin Leather
I got a taste of spring today. The morning showers weren’t great… especially since my Tacoma sits outside now so keeping it clean isn’t easy, BUT I was able to break out the pressure washer, foam cannon and all my goodies and give the 4Runner a clean up. Feels nice to be able to do it in the driveway again. Who else has the spring itch? Feels like it hasn’t quite sprung yet.

P.S. how many fellow Wisconsinites are excited for the new Tacoma?
