I finally got around to installing the Ameriglo Trooper night sights on the Glock 17. The 1301 received some upgrades as well, Aridus handguard and GG&G butt stock adapter.

The Magpul furniture is so much better than the stock furniture, it's so good that I also have a stock adapter from Aridus and another Magpul SGA stock that I don't need so it's up for sale.
Classic mistake of buy first, research later, buy again lol.

Kinda wanting to dip my toes into the 5.7 world, anyone shoot the PSA rock 5.7? Looks good on YouTube and the price point isn’t bad at all.

I have one at home that I haven't had a chance to shoot yet. I need to get out of my penny pinching reloader mentality and accept that I need to actually pay for a little bit of loaded ammo and then I will take it out for a run. Overall it feels like pretty good fit and finish, the trigger is nothing to write home about but that should be expected at the price point.

been reading & getting the feel of the shooters here...

    YES im a 5.7 fan, owner, tweeker(no not the meth type). have FN herstals, Rger57s, PSA 5.7, Banshee 5.7, ar57s & a CMMG 5.7

if you want a pistol in 5.7? its all about your hand size. if you have small hands? the PSA has the best "smaller" grip, the Ruger is next, then the Herstal is last.

ammo in your area is the main thing. its about .50 a round in my area now, but my friends in other spots out west are paying way more.

Shooting at an explosive reactive target contained inside of a metal and plastic container from relatively close range? What could possibly go wrong?

Also, nevermind the shitty aim, what in the actual fuck is that recoil control 17 seconds in?

Great choice. I really like the modularity of the Obsidian.

Cool. 22 cans are certainly special..... nothing quieter with the right ammo. I have an Element 2 that I bought 5 or 6 years ago.

Thats the thing about our cans.. we ONLY test/shoot with full power stuff.
We designed the can around full power 22lr ammo in the short barrel pistols.

This is a purpose built can. Its how you keep them small, light & quiet. my partner(the company owner) & i both feel that no one wants to keep sub sonic ammo in a gun. its counter productive as home defense, expensive & unreliable in SA subcompact pistols. we designed this to give the ultimate reduction in sound with full power loads. We test over a dozen brands of 40grn full power ammo & get the same results every time.

The key component of this set up is that we use: Walther p22's, mosquito, SIG p322, Tarus TX22. ruger sr22, kel tec p17 & FN 502

These guns all have the short barrel & quick powder burn situation that allows the can to stay small.
A 22lr with a 16" barrel yields totally different results than a sub 4" barrel & we make bigger cans for those.

did i mention that with a lifetime warranty... these cans are still LESS than $99? (price that Gemtech....)

I agree. I run CCI Std Vel in my 16" 10/22 due to it being crazy accurate and consistently subsonic but like you said, most 22lr ammo will be subsonic out of a postol.

Here's a pic of a target my 10/22 did with the Element II at 85 yds. This was with CCI Std Vel.

It's bc he's using the bed rail as a bench rest and an AK mag that he can only rest the corner of it. Apparently his gun is too heavy for him to shoot without a rest to his something 50 yards away

He probably just "thinks" he can shoot more accurately off of a "rest"...

Although, I just shot a 250-7X (out of 250) benchrest match, so, a rest can make a difference.
