Dashboard lights

Hi. I got 2023 taco and my dash lights don't turn on unless lights turn on. Is there any mod or some wiring available?

 

No, they're designed that way so the oblivious don't drive around at night with just their DRLs on.

 

There has to be a way to bypass it with harness or some wiring options

 

It was annoying at first but you'll get used to it

 

I mean, I'm sure it can be done but I'm not aware of anyone having done it. Perhaps @caribe makaira can post a wiring diagram and you can be the first.

 

with the not so new LED DRLs, I see this often.

 

I am with you on this, it’s a annoying, let’s put it this way; late at night , part in front yard, town house, you turned your truck on , take a peak at the temp gauge to see if she is warmed up before you leave, now , you’ll wake up your whole family. You get the poin!.
