Nissan Frontier has a secondary cab suspension system that's very effective. I wonder if 'Yota will follow suit.

 

Probably not much at all. A trucks going to ride like a truck. It’s not a luxury car.

 

I'm betting the coils will have a bigger impact than the same leafs from Gen2 and Gen3.

 

I don’t think it will be much different. It’s still a solid rear axle. I have a Tacoma and a 4Runner and they both ride pretty similar. You need independent rear suspension to get a noticeable difference.

 

I dunno, my FJ rode much nicer than any tacoma I have ever ridden in.

Toyota has a habit of using up the parts bin. I could see the SR being just that. However, if the SR offers a the same new motor as the rest I could see some people preferring the traditional leaf option. It would also set Toyota apart from others by giving people an actual choice.

I like it except for the black roof; I’d prefer a color matched roof. I guess I would just get it in black. Looks great overall.

 

Agreed about the roof. I wonder if that is a Trail Hunter inspiration? I also wonder if the YT mobs will pick up on this shortly?
