    @Ozark_RegCab Do you still have all your hair?

    You place a lot of concern over the tiniest differences; I truly hope you're not stressing yourself out.

    That's bad for the body.

    It’s thinning out on top. I’m actually getting pretty worried about that too.

    @Speedytech7

    I'll have this talk with Ryan and Kira later over a beer so I'll ask you only.

    The thought of doing a regular cab Tacoma build has appealed to me since I'm getting that F250.

    The LC was meant as a 'carry big stuff as well as the family' sort of vehicle with off road capabilities.

    The F250 can carry more stuff, a lot heavier, and tow a shit ton more with plenty of room for family leaving the option of having an only off road vehicle if I wanted.

    Just a personal opinion, what say you? I think it'd be fun building a tiny, agile truck.

    I think a reg cab build would be kinda fun, but I'm not sure I'd do one in your shoes just cause you have a family that will want to accompany you on adventures and an F250 is massive

    I loved my single cab, except for the frame rust, but that shouldn’t be an issue for you out in CA. One of those 95-97 V6 regular cabs would be sweet.

    Stephanie liked having gone wheeling, but it's not her cup of tea at all. What she does love is constantly being outdoors which the F250 will achieve.

    So F250 + Theo + Stephanie + Bronx + Biscuit easily doable.

    Which would leave a regular cab to do whatever I'd want. Just wondering if I should keep the behemoth of a LC since the main goal for getting it was 'a bigger vehicle' when I got rid of the 4R.

    Maybe look for a pre-86 truck to get the solid front axle.

    Naw, I would go Tacoma.

    I've wheeled in plenty gnarly areas with IFS that I'm not scared to go back to it again.

    Worst case I throw in that 80 series front axle on the front and call Zane a ton in helping me figure out a solid axle swap.

    Oh which reminds me, @02hilux finally brought his truck over. Fucking thing is gorgeous.

    If you're cool with dailying the F250 for family stuff and when moving the kiddo then yeah why not. I'm too tall for a reg cab, I find them terribly inconvenient and uncomfortable but they're pretty cool looking for sure. But you definitely shouldn't ever be thinking of putting a car seat in one, it's gonna be a "you" vehicle until the kid is tall/heavy enough to be a front seater. Also single cab trim levels especially in 95-97 are ridiculous.

    I've seen @eon_blue extended cab with a car seat, trust me I wouldn't do it in a single cab at all :rofl:

    Yeah I don't know how Dan fits his car seat in the drivers seat.

    What do you mean by the trim levels being ridiculous?

    @Ozark_RegCab

    Real food for thought, hear me out.

    We give you a lot of shit about trail running, especially me, but that's only cause I can't forcibly sit you in your truck and force you to go down a trail myself.

    With that said, do consider a trip out west.

    I'm sure I'm not alone in that I would take you to some spots that would be much more technical than you'll encounter in your area. But you'll also realize that your truck is far more capable than you are by a tenfold.

    Really I think you just need to gain the confidence to do such trails and a spotter telling you where to go will be the best way to go about it.

    I have a ton of friends that would always be down to run a trail, many who are on this very forum and some not on the forum.

    Just plan it, make the trip out here, and run some real trails. You'll get to put a face to a name as well which is always cool too.
