Yesterday’s ride was brutal. I went hiking with some friends and decided to ride there and it started pouring while we were hiking. I had to put my gear on over my soaked clothes and then ride home in the rain.

Between the lack of light, fog, rain, cold and traffic it couldn’t get much worse lol. My helmet also doesn’t have pinlock so I had to keep it cracked open and get sprayed on the face with rain. Traffic was so bad I had to lane split as well.

next time I should just drive

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Been there. Once I fell asleep on my bike in the rain on my sv650. I was tired and should have pulled over, didn’t realize how tired I was.
I remember my buddy jerking and I came to, was still in my lane.
I lift up the visor all the way and got pelted with cold rain…allowed me to pull over and find a place to rest.

Those 990 were badass bikes. Had a wicked sound and grunt to them. Heavy as hell, but they did have a tank setup which brought the fuel down low, which was something they cared over to the new gen bikes.

In Ohio with FJR forum folks, roughly 45 of us here. We've covered about 700 miles so far. Lost count of murals, about 40? Heading to Moundsville, WV to tour the old WV State Penitentiary today.

I got the bigger one because I have a tundra, but the smaller one would be what you want for the tacoma.
