I was just looking at your post on reddit...

It's going to bear resemblance to the Tundra and other trucks on the market for sure, however, I do like the overall design.

I’m thinking the wider fender flares will be a pro or trail hunter thing.

can’t see any recovery points but I’m assuming the trail hunter will have them being a $70K truck

This design theme looks better in the Tacoma footprint compared to the tundra imo.

I agree. I’m not a huge fan of wider flares anyway. As long as the edge of the tire is at the edge of the flare, I’m good. If it’s not, I’ll just get some aftermarket wheels anyway.

I may be in the market come 2025 heheheh

I’m reading this is the pro and the Trailhunter will have a longer bed. Luckily I’ll probably in the market for a new truck in 2 years when they get all the bugs out :spending:

Yeah but renders vs Toyota's actual image - that was "leaked" - AKA put on a publicly available server - just never linked to or used - is completely different things. I have every reason to believe this photo to be the actual Toyota reveal image.

Me like. Those look like 35” tires with the cutaway. Approach angle looks sick.

Those tires look like the GY territory the 3rd gen has just looking at the tread pattern. Will Toyota stick with Falcon like on the Tundra, or go GY Territory MT like other manufacturers?

I also want to see the base model.

Overall like it. Hood feels a bit busy and too aggressive (trying too hard). Not a fan of two tone paint. Prefer less shine on fender flares. Other than that loving the wide fenders and approach angle and what appear to be very large tires and overall design is good.

I don't want to pay a small fortune for a truck, I don't even like all the tech leather and what other luxury stuff they come up with. That stuff is nice, I just don't want it. I want two front seats, vinyl floor 4wd, rear locker, increased ride height, LED headlights and a physical key. I'll take a decent pay load, low end torque, and a front locker if I have to settle for things I can live with out.

I think that's what I find most appealing about my 2nd gen, it's a base model truck and it has a small foot print. I don't like it simply because it's a Toyota, it could be a Kia for all I care aa long as it has the features I want.

Edit based of the SR instead of the SR5.

Toyota missed the mark with the 3rd gen by not offering a AC specced exactly like the 22/23 trail edition and deleting the rear jump seats. Didn't hurt their bottom line, but I would have bought a truck like that.
