    I'd only use it in the snow if things are real hairy and I can't get moving with 4hi alone or if I'm snow bashing. At that point you should probably stay home though lol

    So I'm guessing my old diff was an open diff?
    Is the elocker the same except when it's locked?
    Or is it a pos traction diff that gets locked?
    Not sure if tacoma came with a pos traction?

    Your old diff was indeed open diff if it 1. It was factory and 2. Not an e locker

    An e locker, when not engaged is just that, an open diff
