Oil change day which has also turned into.. clean up all the oil that splashed out of my cheap old drain pan.

Guess I'll prepare for that better next time.

Fumoto valve that controls how quickly the oil exits. Can also purchase a tube to redirect the oil. I purchased 133s.

Yeah totally. It's really a trade off somewhere. My front door is not protected against door dings and even with the kickout, it can't be used as a step (a big reason I don't think fill plates are a good idea).

Put together this load bar setup on my Alu-Cab with some off the shelf 1x2" extruded aluminum t slot and some brackets. Not bad, but will probably get some brackets cut and bent up to better match the prinsu. This thing is a ton of hardware right now, would like to stream line that while still utilizing the bars. Noted for future headaches. All I had was a well-worn diablo cutting wheel and now I'm basking in man glitter.

Agreed. Even with the RCI’s I didn’t want the 0° with the fill plates. It would just make entering/exiting the vehicle more challenging.

The sliders hold onto a lot of snow and ice by themselves; with the fill plates they would carry even more like running boards do. The road gunk on your calves is real but I've learned how to stretch my legs out further to the ground on a winter day. Not really relevant, but I have the RCI 0° w/out fill plates.

Factory plugs came out super ez and don't look toasted, glad I got it done. I did not use antiseize on install because I'm never leaving plugs in any engine long enough for them to seize.

Only pain was having to stand on a folding chair to do it all. This is one of those times when the 6ft of extensions in your toolbox come in handy.

Good deal, been watching a few youtube vids on how to best tackle the job w minimal removal of stuff lol. I’ll just set aside a few hours on a nicer weekend.

Weather around these parts is hit or miss one good day vs 3-4 rainy ones.
