I have a ‘22 Tacoma TRD Sport with the front-facing camera and PVM. I recently swapped out my grille with a Taco Vinyl pro grille. I had no problems with the sensor or getting my camera to work, but the new higher position of the camera makes the functionality way off from stock as it’s pointed too high. When it appears I’m touching something on the camera it’s actually 3 feet away or so. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this with the front-facing camera and found a mount with the right angle or some other fix. Not sure if the OEM camera bracket would fit the aftermarket grille or have the correct angle I’m expecting. Thanks!!

Does the taco vinyl grille have the hole to mount the camera? I got a 2020 sport but i got oem pro grille and bought a 3d printed camera mount

I did swap from the OR grill to the pro-style grill when I got my lift on. But they recalibrated it at the same time. I remember getting a bunch of alerts in my phone while I was waiting that the system was broken...I was a little worried. No issues since, yet anyway.

I did the Taco Vinyl pro grille with their front camera mount also. Yes the camera position is higher but I have no problems with the new position. When it looks like I'm just about to hit something, I am. This may be a silly question, but when you put in their camera bracket did you position it with the sticky tape part at the top of the grille? Otherwise your camera will point up instead of down. This is what mine looks like. It's hard to tell but the camera is pointing slightly downward:

I just installed an OEM Pro grille and have the same issue. I also noticed that if the truck is next to, for example lines (double yellow lines or a curb) on the road, the images from the side cameras no longer seamlessly line up with the new front camera position in the 360 view. The images appear to be offset horizontally. I'm wondering, how would the new image be aligned? Some hidden service menu?
