Quickly becoming one of my favorite channels. He spends a lot of time in the Ouachitas -- which is my first love and one of the best kept secrets.

The videos just keep getting better and better. They are more professional than another other channel in the area. No mood swings, temper tantrums, or histrionic fits. Since he drives a Toyota, no disrespectful slams.
I would enjoy going out with him this fall when I get Maroon back in action. Thanks for calling this one out.

    @eon_blue

You got that fender still right?

    How thin is that metal?

@Ozark_RegCab This little Taco got a lot of attention at Jambo. If I had driven Maroon, it would have been just another 100 series of about 50 that were there. A number of vendors came up to talk when they saw it. I think I will take it back next year.

It's pretty thin, I mean you lean into it and probably fold it pretty easily

Sofia has figured out how to make sounds and words rhyme, now she's running around the house with her broom between her legs yelling 'I'm a witch bitch I'm a witch bitch!'

Gonna have to figure out how to stop this before school tomorrow without making it into a thing lol

Someone asked if I'd consider an ext cab

So I was thinking I'd want to bob the bed to shorten it's length

Tying in the rear frame is as easy as welding in a new crossmember but I was thinking I'd want to TIG the bed portion back on if I cut one off

Yeah that would be much easier to find than a v6 regular cab

You gonna go with a manual this time?

    better say yes

Manual would absolutely be fun, but trying not to be super specific.

I'll take a clean auto vs a beat up manual (depending on what's beat up exactly) but really...mechanically in good shape is better than a body that's got some wrinkles so yeah hopefully a manual.

If it sells, then it's just easier to get what I want.

I only put it up on TW so not really putting any effort into getting rid of it; then again I didn't put effort into the 4R either

I just remembered, this dude has an extra fender for me he'd let me have from the local LC FB group.

Same color and in better shape, I just keep forgetting to buy those replacement tabs to reinstall it.

With 1st gen 4x4s there seem to be almost as many manuals out there as autos, maybe even more manuals in the earlier years. With the auto I feel you'd have to be more concerned with how they maintained it, did they tow with it in overdrive, overheat it, etc. Like with the 4runners and the infamous brown radiators and pink milkshakes, don't have to work about any of that with the 5spd

Plus the clutch activated ECT PWR is so much better than the button one :D

Everyone needs a beat up manual in their life. Or two.

The milkshakes were cause people would neglect their radiator the same way you see them driving around on stock shocks 250k miles later.

Blows my mind how often people neglect maintenance, but that applies to basically any vehicle type.

Your 4R is definitely a clean one though; really glad you got your hands on that thing.
