Any recommendations for after market sway bar links? Or should I just stick with OEM?

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Other then changing worn out bushings I have never seen a reason to change them to after market.

Then one gets the whole sway Bar Pro/ Con debate

So many threads do some research.

It comes down to one side feels sway bars are a waste and should just be left off.

Because they impact the vehicle performance off road.

Put simple the other side feels the vehicle drives much better with the sway bar installed and bushings in good shape.

then others fall any place in the middle

OEM sway bar links are $57 each at McGeorge right now, I have two more sides to offer. :p

OEM's will almost always outlast aftermarket. So my thought is when the time comes i should go with that.

The other is This is not a critical steering/safety part and one could ponder a likely $15-$25 each price tag for aftermarket. I generally only go aftermarket if it's some sort of upgrade or is not a critical part. I'm wondering the same, this might be an area where I might go aftermarket when the time comes.

The real question is do you really need to change them? boots still intact, still got grease in them, no obvious looseness/slop to them? If so leave them be and spend the bucks elsewhere. :p

Fwiw there's a guy on here that makes quick disconnect versions for not much more than OEM iirc

Over the years I've broken both original links.

I've also replaced the ones I got from Rock Auto a couple of times.

Then I learned to be extra careful when I'm off-road. :gossip: No more rippin' and roarin' when off-road like I did 25 years ago when I bought the truck new...
