Serious flaw in this recipe though. An Elephant is like, what, 10 elk? You can process an elk in a day if you put your mind to it. 2 months for elephant stew?? Pish posh. I'd have that gray trunkey guy turned into cubes within two weeks. Find an old dairy trailer, cut it in half lengthwise and park it over a lava field and baby we got a stew going

 

This is one of the main reasons I don't use enamled pans. Along with it being horrible for the environment and workers, they're always "meh". I have absolutely destroyed my cast irons' seasoning and had ZERO concerns.

I want to get a carbon steel pan - that's my next venture. Probably start with an Ikea one and see what happens.

 

I myself would just get some already processed elephant from Whole Foods.

I'm home sick today. It started Sat night and by last night I was swimming in a fog of headache and snot. Took a covid test this morning thinking for sure it would be positive. It was negative. Still haven't had Covid. Don't know what I've got but it's the first sick day I've taken on 6 years. FML.
