Any of yall know what I need to do to sell a rifle online here in NC as far as shipping it goes? Do I take it to my FFL and let them ship it, or can I ship it myself to the buyers FFL?

Thinking of selling one of my mausers if anybody is looking for one.

 

If its being sold to someone within NC I dont believe an FFL is required at either end of the deal.

 

Shipped it will it has to be shipped to an FFL license. That's fed law.

 

Yeah face to face is one thing, but Im probably gonna put it up on gunbroker. Been on the receiving end a few times so I know it gets shipped to an FFL, just dont know if I need to have an FFL ship it for me too.

 

I dont think you HAVE to have an FFL to ship but its easier, plus some FFL's wont receive guns shipped from a private party. I had a friend ship me a gun (via my local FFL) from out of state that I bought from her when I lived in TX 10 yrs ago and she shipped it to my FFL and it was a huge PITA for them for some reason I dont recall and they said they would never do it (receive non-FFL shipment) again.

I have heard of services like shipmygun.com that do this for relatively cheaply but have never used them.

 

Anyone looking for or know of anyone looking for work? Needing a warehouse mgr / assistant pm, full time. Construction company local to mooresville. You can ship a gun yourself, but you do need to send it to an FFL. It does not require shipping FFL to FFL.

 

Got a set of LT285/70/17 General Grabber X3's that have never been mounted if anybody is interested. Cheapest I see online is $300/tire before install. Asking $700 for the set. PM if interested.
