Bought to put a tune on it.
For throttle lag. What’s your thoughts? OTT seemed to what I need probably a medium set.
400$ fix seems extremely reasonable to me.

I’m pretty sure you nailed it out the gate.
Definitely improved when I brought them down to 29.
I’m about to get the OTT tune on it.
For the throttle lag. Acceleration is lame. What’s your thoughts on this subject.

I looked at all those plug n play scams it was pretty easy to see they only shorted the pedal depression.

also though about cold air intake and ripp coil packs but seemed like over kill.
Look good though. That k@n and those ripp coil packs.

    Yeah.
The Tacoma, like most other modern vehicles, already has a cold air intake. Anything that pulls air from the engine bay, regardless of the baffling, is a step backward. Unless your coil packs are already malfunctioning, no need to replace and won't get you any more power. But your money, your truck, you do you.

Yeah I’m not doing that. You’re right waste of money probably.
But think I am gonna do the overland tailor tune.
    Your thoughts on that?

    Yeah.
I personally don't have an issue with the stock tune, but I drive like an old man. I don't have a commute in traffic and don't do a lot of miles, so I'm not the best to comment. When I give it the beans, it goes.

I'd put a few thousand miles on the truck and let it learn a bit before changing anything, unless it is really bugging you. Use the ECT button if you are feeling sporty. If you get an opportunity to do a back-to-back comparison with a truck that has the tune you are looking at, that would be the best way to tell whether it is worth it to you or not, although everyone with a tune seems to think it's the best thing ever.
