Nice! I am all over, usually work in Syosset, usually sleep in Manhasset and hang out around Rosyln.

 

Good stuff! If you see an army green taco with a tan softopper good chances it’s me.

 

Beach wheeling and camping? Yes plz!
Took the dogs, wife and Taco to RM for the weekend. Good times!

 

I'm in for beach wheeling. I typically do Smith Point with the kiddos, but do have the 4x4 fishing permit as well.

 

I have the Outer Beach pass as well. I am completely down for SP.

How’s the striper and bluefish bite up there?

 

Depends on the time of the year, but usually pretty good. Some big stripers to be had if you catch a good run in the fall.

 

I thought they’d be in now for the Spring

 

Stronger runs in the fall up here.

You ever make the TNJT run? I'm up in Orange County and not too far from the northern end of it. I'd like to make a long weekend of it this summer or at least do the section down to Round Valley Reservoir.

Spent the weekend camping on the outer beach at Smith Point. Was a beautiful weekend for it! Took half a day to get the sand and dog hair out of every millimeter of the truck, but worth it!

 

BTW, replaced my old steel CBI rack with a new aluminum CBI rack. If anyone wants a steel CBI overland bed rack for a short bed, let me know! It is NOT PERFECT, but it is cheap. A quick coat of rattle can bed liner and it's fine. $200 and I can deliver it within reason. Located in Islip. Has all of the hardware for install. Lights not included.

 

Any of us know the dark green TRD Pro with the soft top that cruises around north short Nassau?

I keep seeing it, love the truck.
