Brake light/tag light out

Hey all
2018 4wd tacoma sr
Drivers side brake light and drivers side tag light are both out. Bulbs are replaced and fuses are good. Any ideas ? Wiring? Brake switch?
Bring in for diagnostics ? thanks !

It turned out to be a comedy of coincidences. And it’s all fixed

 

Replaced with LED perhaps?

 

Brake light or tail light? The brake and license plate lights have no correlation. The tail and license plate lights do have a correlation.

So, the bright mode on the bottom left side of the left tail lamp is what's bad? The dim mode on both the top and bottom of the tail lamp, and the bright mode (turn signal) on the top of the tail lamp all work fine?

It won't be the brake switch if the rest of the brake lights work.

 

it looks like you were rear-ended pretty hard last year, I would check wiring, especially for splices. Your insurance may have a longer "warranty" or guarantee than you think so you call them and tell them you are still having problems.
