Oh, yeah. I like Anders. His videos are fun. There are quite a few drinks I've tried because of him.

    1 Bud light tall boy
    1 can of V8

Chug enough of the bud light to be able to dump in the V8.

My preferred home cocktail is a combination whiskey sour/old fashioned with rye whiskey. Basically just an old fashioned but with a small pour of sour mix. On hot days when you have to work outside putting it in a tall glass with some club soda works as well.

Since no one can seem to agree whether it should be made with Gin or Cognac:

    French 75 (both ways)

    2oz Brut Champagne/Sparkling Wine
    1oz Gin or Cognac
    0.5oz simple syrup
    0.5oz lemon juice

Shake everything except champagne. Pour roughly 1oz of champagne into glass. Strain and pour mixture into glass. Top with remaining champagne. Garnish with lemon peel. Enjoy!

    1 tsp simple syrup
    juice of 1/2 lime.
shake with cracked ice, strain and serve.

    Nice! Salud!

I like that you used a lime wheel, instead of a wedge. I meant to use a wheel, but was tired when I took the photo, and didn't realize I used a wedge until I went to post. By that point I just wanted the drink; I didn't want to take another photo.

This thread needs some more love :) Wife and I have been getting more and more into cocktails over the past 5yrs. Learning techniques, stocking up the bar, getting some better bar tools...etc. This year we've started what we're calling the "Summer of Rum" (aka Rum Summa) and have been going wild with rum cocktails. Previously I was never a fan of rum but turns out it's cause I hadn't really been exposed to GOOD rum - which is surprisingly cheap, btw. Now I'm just worried rum will get the same attention bourbon has and prices will start to skyrocket.

Wife's been the one taking all the cocktail glamour shots so I'll have to see about digging up some pics...

Cocktail Kingdom is the spot for bar tools, their shipping is expensive though so buy a bunch of stuff at once.

Mods? We don't need no stinking mods.
I love a good Rusty Nail. I think this was Frank Sinatra's favorite as well.

I like using 2 parts scotch to 1 part Drambuie.
