Wait, so your MAP readings start at like 3psi? If I'm reading it right, the first row on your table is 20 kPA.

Your table overall has a lot more timing in it than mine does which is interesting.
Were you running a header and/or test pipe in place of the cat or anything like that? I know you had a similar intake to mine with your previous setup.

Day trip out to Uncle Tom's cabin yesterday. Fun letting the supercharger eat it's heart out in the snow.

Installed an LCE header and test pipe this last weekend.
Although the test pipe made the truck way too loud. Like retarted ricer honda with no muffler kind-of-loud. The header no doubt is also contributing towards the increased loudness, but I put the cat back in for now so I don't get a ticket for disturbing the peace or something.

I plan to add a resonator to cut down on some of the rasp and high frequency for hopefully a more well rounded exhaust tone. Then maybe I'll try out the test pipe again depending on how much the resonator helps.

    20230401_160158.jpg

After starting it up, noticed that the ceramic coat started to flake off on the header. This is indicative that they applied too heavy of a coat during the application.
Ceramic coatings only need to be a couple mils thick. Any more, and the coating isn't able to expand and contract with the metal and will then crack flake off like such.

After talking with LCE, they're sending me a new header. Wish I didn't have to go through the install again, but I'd rather that than deal with any kind of corrosion on the manifold down the line.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Mine did the same thing on my old LCE header too, looked nice for a month then began to rust. Never rusted through though in 4.5yrs.

Hopefully that's not the case with the second one they send me. Ceramic coatings can be hard to get totally right if you don't know what you're doing and the prep isn't right.

My phone mic started to cut out at the end of the pull at the end of the video.
Made a lot of pops and bangs on deceleration.

Got some work done on the truck today. I had a resonator added to the exhaust to quiet it down some and help with the drone. It was getting kind of annoying on longer drives with just the overall loudness. I might later try putting the test pipe back in and seeing if that helps bring it to a more manageable level, but now with the cat in it's pretty nice and quiet until you really get on the throttle.

I've been sitting on my rebuilt RCV axles for a while so I decided it was finally time to put them in after the spares I was running tore a boot.

Upon opening the box, I was pleasantly surprised by a number of things. Firstly, the packaging was a lot better compared to how they showed up when I initially bought them.

I was happy to see that they changed the style of boot clamp they used. In addition, it also looked like they used some sort of a glue between the axle and the boot which should hopefully prevent them from coming off like before.
It also seems like the boot material is something different than before. A slightly softer durometer rubber.
Hoping I don't have to touch these again for many miles....

    20230429_170750.jpg

I also installed a Lexus fill plug into the front diff for peace of mind
    20230429_170704.jpg

Addressed some long overdue squeaking coming from the leaf springs. Greased up all the bushings with the prothane grease.

Big shout out to OTRATTW. I've replaced basically every rocker about twice now as the mounting clips on the side would break off of the switches due to thermal shock in the winter from the heat generated from the incandescent bulbs in them.
I previously tried some blue LED switches, but they were absurdly bright and annoying to drive with at night.
They hooked me up with all new switches with Red LED lights. I also got all new updated rocker switches with laser etched text so that I can actually read what each switch is at night.

Over here enabling @cbechtold and my poor financial decisions
Can't pass up a good deal, and figured it would be a good excuse to go to 35's for this wheeling season. My old wheels have made it full circle and are now back on my truck, just with bigger meats this time.

I can drive around on them and turn lock to lock no problem. Thanks to the Solo LCA's. I do rub the frame just a little when turned full lock to the driver side, so I'm thinking I'll throw some 1/4" spacers on to see if that helps.
Sometime soon I'll pull the coilover and see what really needs to be cut and clearanced for full stuff. Would be awesome if I could get away without having to tub the firewall, but we'll see.
The downside of the whole thing is that my spare tire now has to go in the bed since it doesn't fit under it anymore. And the tire is too tall laying flat to fit under my bed platform :( so I'll have to pull it out anytime I wanna sleep back there which sucks. and no I won't put it on a swingout.

Jumping to 35's from 33's isn't a big of an appearance change as I thought it would be, but I think it looks great. I was expecting it to poke out further from the fender flares with the added width, but it's barely a change from how it was before. Can't wait to see how it performs offroad with the added ground clearance.

Shot of how far they stick out
    20230508_185713.jpg

I flexed it out on a rock to see where it would rub, and was really surprised at how much room I still had to the firewall. Proper clearancing will involve removing the bumpstop and checking at full mechanical bind, but if it was a pavement princess this would be good enough.

If I'm solid axle swapping, I might as well go full racecar and do a 609 axle up front to match the rear axle.
