Happy Tuesday! Looks like we've got a good stretch of nice weather coming up. Might actually be worth washing the car and truck this afternoon.

Those things are DELICIOUS!

In Portugal they make them everywhere, but if you want the real deal authentic ones you have to go to the north or Portugal, city called Porto and surrounding area for the good stuff.

There's a place here in Danbury that makes them. They're good, but nothing like the stuff they make in Portugal. But it's the closest I'll get to it being all the way on this side of the pond.

The best part about this thing is the sauce they make with it. Drench the sandwich in the sauce, and the fries.

To each their own. Hard to beat a bowl of fries, and poutine when in quebec. Their French onion soup is outstanding to.

 

I've had that when I went to Montreal a bunch of years ago.

Getting the relay/fuse box installed was a huge hurdle. Now I can work on getting the switches wired to it, after that I'll work on wiring my fogs.

My wife grew up in BC and is sooooo picky when it comes to poutine.

 

My Mother was from the Drummondville, QC area and that's where it was "invented".

 

When I make mine, home made fries are a must.
Curd cheese, sometimes difficult to find in this area, squeaks when fresh and is one of my favorite snacks.

 

I’ve heard Chez Ben Diner in Manchester, CT has some good poutine. Haven’t been and verified myself. Anybody try this place?

 

I've been to Chea Ben's in Manchester poutine is excellent that's all their food is they also have Canadian meat pies they also have Crouton
If you go during the week it's easier to get a seat in the morning or afternoon going on the weekend bring a chair cuz you'll be waiting outside I'm going back soon
The day I was there the portions were huge.
My friend ordered the breakfast Poutine and he could only eat half of the poutine and he's a light weight 260 lbs.

In our case we were not disappointed
