Typically it's not a great idea to ship with an OEM brand name included unless you like getting sued. Aftermarket but stock style grills do not come with a replacement emblem either - you must purchase separately from Toyota.

They should update their site to state that, but it looks like some Instagram garbage drop ship storefront anyway so I wouldn't expect much from it to begin with.

File a chargeback if they're not willing to work with you.

Will a Toyota dealership have the letters?!

Not for this custom grill, no. You can go find some generic letters at any auto store but I doubt it will be easy to fit on there since the ones I've seen are stickers

Looks like I'm stuck with this POS. I need to figure out how to get a logo on it. It looks dumb without the letters.

Again, request a refund based on false advertising and accept nothing less than a full refund with free return shipping, if necessary. If they refuse go through whatever company you paid with and file a dispute telling them you did not receive what was advertised, and that you have attempted to deal with the seller to no avail. You'll get your money back and you can go get a grill that works for you with the emblem information now in mind.

I deal with this from time to time, primarily with overseas sellers. It comes with the territory.

    Much appreciated. I'll do that.

Yep this is not uncommon but it sucks that the advertising was misleading. There was a thread a while back where there were grilles from another company shipped with YOTOTA or something like that and swappable letters.. Occasionally I'll see Ford raptor style grilles that say DODD or similar because the F and R are sold separately.

If you can't get a refund maybe someone could 3D print letters for you?

I was thinking about the 3D thing! That may work out great! The grill itself will look pretty sharp once I get this figured out.

Honestly looking at the website it does say it should come with the letters and their support is no help or refusing to get you the remaining part of your order if you take all that to your bank and issue a charge back you can get your money back since you didn't received what you paid for/expected and the seller isn't responsive on helping.

I'd do that and get the grill from elsewhere.
