Since I have a bed cover, I did mine on the side which keeps me from having to remove the cover. Of course it's just for one bike.

That's actually a really good idea! If I ever put my tonneau back on this will be what I do.

I looked at the Rough Country extender just now. It is less rigid than Toyota's. 2 vertical ribs instead of 4.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

That's actually a really neat idea, and I would end up using the ramp quite often. The price isn't bad either @ $220

Anyone know of a local shop that would replace bushing in lower control arms? I'm located in the Woodstock area.

I think Greer Automotive would be a good option. Local and heavily involved in the Yota world

If your bushings are shot, I'd look at your ball joints too. If they are leaking/torn then it's going to be easier to just get new LCA's. Might just be better to do that anyways before you go though all the trouble of replacing the bushings and then a year later the ball joints go. Then you can rebuild the ones you remove on your own time and have them ready to go when you need to do it again. Just my .02.

Been back and forth on whether to do new arms or not. I have trouble ponying up the $400 per arm for OEM. I'd probably get Mevotech off Rock Auto.

I got Moogs that were pretty cheap. They have been fine so far. Think it's been about 40k on them now. I have my OEMs that I'm putting new ball joints in so I'll have them ready to go when I need replace the Moogs.
