    Hey guys! Quick update.

Met up with @BillieBars and we've come up with a design that fixes a lot of the issues I was running into. We should be able to test the prototype in 1-2 months! I'll update you all with what I can. I'm loving the ideas we got and think a lot of people are going to love this option!

Just left their shop with the redesign on Friday! Looking really good and easy to install. Keep an eye on their page and you should see something soon!

agreed, though ive a fiberglass topper on my tacoma and would love to have external storage for traction boards or a rotopax heck even camping to be able to mount my bags or boxes to the side of the truck when camping out.

I’m thinking something is fishy. We have a post in May that indicates that a re-design has been made. Then in October left the shop with a re-design. But while all that is going on Billie bars is saying that they are working hard to get this into production. And here it is middle of November and not a peep. I was actually interested in this but too much hot air being blown around.

If anyone has an idea for this pass it on. I have access to a water jet and I’m not half bad on a tig. I’ll be back in the states second week of January.

@Majora any more info on this? I've been checking back periodically with high hopes but to no avail. Still very interested in this though.

Yep like I said in November something stinks about all of this.

Any other fabricator/vendor that is on here that gets a request from the amount of people like on this thread always does a small initial run to see about the product being viable for sale.

Might sell might not. They determine continuing to fabricate based on responses and sales. But to be told that something is being worked on and is coming in May and have heard nothing since, I wouldn’t count on anything coming.

And maybe that’s a good thing. If it takes this long just to get an update imagine what might happen if you needed product support.

I think they missed out on this for all of us that have a Softopper and don’t want to spend 1200 plus for a full rack that goes over the Softopper. Willing to help out however I can if someone has a design or something that they are willing to try out.

They are definitely missing out, I could see this selling like hot cakes. Maybe another company will see a need for this and fill the void.
