Once the Leafs are out I want the Kraken to win.

 

That would be fucking sweet, NHL hockey culture is still new here but the fanbase is really getting behind it. If we can get past Dallas, which will be no easy task, it’s just going to get tougher. We lost the season series with all the west teams remaining, but Vegas and Edmonton really had our number, especially late in the season. If I had to choose I’d prefer Vegas, Edmonton just keeps ramping up.

That's what Vegas was allowing Edmonton to do in game 2. Edmonton Power Play was good, but Vegas also gave up a lot of rushes they shouldn't have and looked sloppy.

 

I'm amazed that Vegas being on like their 5th string goalie, Edmonton can't ramp it up enough to rattle him or just throw pucks at the net and try to create. I just can't figure that team out. Some nights, every time they possess the puck it looks like they can enter the zone and score at will. And then last night when they should really push for that, you get nothing. And their D is still bad like always. Hilarious. Vegas' only weakness is they just don't have the goaltending. I know they play pretty tight (not like the Gallant era, but tight enough) but we already saw Edmonton open it up on them a bit.

 

Quite a comeback from the last game for the Canes to come away from Jersey thrashing them 6-1 and lead the series 3-1. Back home boys!

I think NJ is in trouble. Canes look very solid.

Nice that Dallas came back, last night. Seattle still hangs around though. They don't give up. I give them credit. But glad Dallas looked themselves again. Hopefully keep that momentum going, coming back home.

 

I’ve seen so many one sided games in these playoffs swap to totally to the other side the next game I’ve learned to be hopeful but not overconfident. Canes are scoring more than in the regular season which they had to do and overall the defense has held up so yeah a good sign.
Dallas Seattle is open for who wants it most, Dallas had to win that game or go down 3-1. Same with Devils but they couldn’t bring it except for the first 10 minutes.

 

Yes, good point. These playoffs, especially the 2nd round, has seen some 1-sided games and then swap the other way. It's kind of weird and annoying. But as you said, it's not over yet. I think Toronto and NJ are both capable of getting back into it. Not totally sure if they actually will though. I agree, Dallas needed that last night. For some reason, they looked zapped in that last loss. So that was a nice bounce back. But that series is wide-open, as mentioned.
