I am gonna have to give that a try.

Question:
I have a few swirl marks on the hood where the prior owner tried to get something off and lightly scratched the clear coat, nothing too bad - do you think it would make them better/worse? Thoughts/suggestions - -??

Also, you have the DRL led thingys that I so badly want - they don't make em anymore and they are all color matched and

 

As far as the swirl marks, it won’t make them any worse, but probably won’t make them any better. You might try some rubbing compound for that. I got my DRL thingys from a company called Auer automotive about 5 years ago. I don’t know if they’re still available or not, Spruce Mica was not an option, I had to get black and painted them myself.
