I only count 10 clamps in you’re M. C. Escher inspired device, I’m assuming a few more are out of the frame, or in a different dimension.

You know, I have a welder, one of these days I should actually use the damn thing. Where is the best place to get scrap steel to practice with?

If you have any fabrication / machine shops near you stop in and ask nicely if you can pick through their scrap steel dumpster.

Drinking from the garden hose has no long term negative effects,
    I think.:notsure:

Just because I bought the wrong color truck and have spent ridicules amounts of money on upgrades, I don't blame the water.
    I blame the internet.:typing:

Twice since Sunday I've had my days confused,
    I don't blame the water.
    I blame climate change.

My wife said I left the the gate to the dog pen open yesterday when I went to work.
    I don't blame the water.
    I blame the cat.

I still drink from the garden hose and I'm fine.

Yep. But it’s a full time job to keep clean, unless you don’t care. Seems like you can wash it and 5 minutes later it needs washed again

When it comes to black vehicles, you are correct.

I had a white car a long time ago. With white you don't realize just how dirty it gets from just from regular driving until you wash it.

But do they live near a Harbor Freight that sells clamps by the pound??? :D

Clamps are a bit easier to store than a flat welding table given my limited space. This way, I can use 4 big angle iron pieces, and clamp them tight for a probably flat working area. That way I can clamp my work to that using more clamps. A few more clamps to clamp my corners tight, and Bob’s your uncle.

Yesterday I welded it all locked together. I’m not done yet, but I put it on my roof to check it over for any glaring mistakes. It lays flat…and only a tiny amount of twist. Of course, that twist means that toyota’s tolerances are off…cheap japenese vehicles…what do we expect, amirite?

What were we saying about garden hoses?

Just about lol. Like 6 bucks and change per clamp. They have ones that are a bit more expensive, but all of them have the lifetime warranty.

Just getting reception and heading out of the Brule River area.

Great time with family - fishing, shooting, hiking, and trout fishing. Even taught my cousin's 19 year old daughter how to play cribbage.

The roads going in had some obstacles, though.

At first I thought the first guy was having a medical emergency of some kind, but then I saw everyone else was going fast over that rock garden. :p

Some people hate having money apparently?
