$32??? An EC Private Barrel here runs like 80 bucks. They’re really good! At least they were before I lost my bourbon taste.

Check the proof, usually about 130.

I believe these are the small batch barrel selects. The barrel proof picks have a black label, not red

Says single barrel so can’t be a small batch, but you’re right my single barrel, barrel proof private selection is a black label. Guess there’s one that isn’t barrel proof.

Couple examples. Older barrel has the higher proof, makes sense.

Correct. They do private barrels at both barrel proof and at 94 proof.

its basically your standard EC, but has a chance for some extra depth…my state marks them up too much to make it worth it. 32 is a great price

I enjoy Elijah Craig in all shapes, sizes, proofs, and ages. The single barrels and private barrels are pretty good, but it's tough to beat good ol' 12yo ECBP.

I like it man.. its smooth. I don't like the smoky taste from whiskey or when its double casked.

I like the simple stuff..single malt..single barrel. I would say this is a great whiskey without breaking your wallet.
Balvenie has good product and if you are open to purchasing a more expensive bottle, their 21 year is REALLY good.. its about 200 bucks here in CA

I am a fan of Balvenie. I've had the 12 year double wood, 14 year Caribbean, and the 17 year Double. I kept the 17 tube for a project. Don't know what that is, but I'll find one!

I didn’t want to buy any more bottles for a little while. I wanted to put a dent in what I have open. But when you see an E.H. Taylor at retail, well it comes home with you.

I guess a one for one is ok lol. Cheers

I’ve heard alot of great things from four gate. This is a store pic from total wine. It’s not a cheap bottle but looking at other bottles out there that are “allocated” this is a damn good bottle…no a damn-damn good bottle. I knew I’d regret it when I only got one bottle so I got two.. wish I coulda afforded more.

    Getcha some gentlemen.
