    Ah, I hadn't actually taken that into account.
    Just the rear? Or front?

    Biggest hurdle is actually properly compressing, and swapping the coils, and I have my old stuff away, so, I don't even have anything to stuff under there...

    I have a spring compressor. Worked for 6112s and no one died. Still sketchy.

    rear lines would need to be extended or they become limit straps

    edit: front should be fine

    Claw spring compressors scare the dogshit out of me. I think I have 6112s in my future. Ever do the bigger coils "on truck" using the weight to compress?

    Yes, way less sketchy imo. I think it should be a set of 3 instead of 2.
    I think mine would be fine on 887s after seeing them work on 650# springs



    how did you make out with your caliper bolts?

    Rounded off the first upper softline flare nut with a brand new decent flare wrench and said "F this" and took it to a shop. Shop was a mistake for other reasons, but dude said he had never seen the caliper bolts fight like that.

    Just the rear.....fronts are fine. Last time we did my 6112's, we had 3 of the clamp compressors on each spring. Also used a ratchet as well instead of an impact......a lot less sketchy.

    Just rears unless you want to give a stiffer pedal feel with front stainless lines as well. Make sure you get the Teflon lined ones so you can pinch them off if needed. I had/have a guy that will come out and make lines on the spot as needed as well if you want

    I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
    If anybody wants to try out their new suspension just take a ride to Bellingham. The paved part just south of the center is worse than the gravel part near the middle school!
