What is the Torque specifications for the 2.7L connecting rod on the bearing side

    What is the Torque specification for the 2.7L connecting rod on the bearing side.

    Those bolts are TTY.
    You need to use new bolts.

    I don’t have a 2009 FSM.

    But the 2008 FSM says. I don’t believe there is any difference between years.

    Actually they tell you to measure the OD of the bolt and if it's out of spec replace.

    I’d still use a new bolt if possible.
    I got no luck. It would either snap on me on installation, or worse, as the engine was running.
    If it were someone else, they’d be fine reusing the bolt. But not me:rofl:

    Yea honestly if I was building an engine that had TTY bolts I'd probably replace them too.
