Summer is here and this old guy likes to drive down the road with my driver side window open. Back in the day you would turn the cab temp. selector to "cool" or "blue" and the air directional to "vent" and that would just let in fresh air from the outside come in the cab regardless of the outside temp. My 2021 has a temp selector by degrees and with the window down and the A/C off- it will heat up the cab or turn on the A/C dependent on the outside air temp. Is there a way to just get the outside air to flow into the cab regardless of the temp.? I have the air set to "non-recirculation" does not seem to help.

You also want to make sure “auto” is off by selecting one of the modes

    Little known fact...

If you simply turn off the auto climate control, it will keep the the blend doors at the last setting. For instance, if you have it set to auto 72 deg F, it will remain there even when turned off.

So, to get what you want...turn the temp dial to LO...then turn the system off.

Yep….came here to say this. No need to take it out of auto or anything, just turn it off. Then next time you press auto it goes right back to where you had it (which would be on LO if that’s what it was set to before off).

I don’t have “auto” and it vents outside when “recirculate” is off.
