I have owned 6 black vehicles over the years. This is very true - looks good for about 5 minutes, long enough to take a couple photos, then it's trash. If insanity was a car it would have black paint. But damn if they don't look amazing when fully waxed and detailed.

I can see it, and the timing of that particular clip is fun for me. Had first night of GMAW (MIG) class tonight. I can make beads now! Top is pulling, bottom is pushing, and mostly this exercise was just learning our equipment so not expected to be very good. Vent hood in my cubicle fell and hit me on the head in the middle of a couple of these, and the light above me went out a few times so I was basically doing it blindfolded on a couple. Next week I'm getting a different booth that isn't trying to kill me lol. Instructor is super cool though, should be a good semester.

Look at the wood elf go! He's even got someone taking photos for him like a pro!

Adventure photos are great as usual! How are you liking the Grabber X3 tires?

Are you using the Festool tracksaw track as a guide for a Ryobi circ saw?
I think maybe you should consider drinking after you have the bar finished!

I could only afford the track, I’m saving up for the saw!

They aren't too bad. Won't be getting them again but don't regret getting them either. Little noisier than I would like but the main complaint is they understeer really bad when the surface is wet. Yesterday on the muddy roads the braking and acceleration was great but turning was pretty mediocre. I noticed that in the snow as well but gave them a free pass since I know mud tires are most definitely not made for snow but the characteristic persists. Perhaps I'm just expecting too much because they are a mud tire? IDK I would have to take another tire in the same places and see if they do the same thing but I was nervous on several locations because of how poorly they turned. All of that being said their on road manners are actually far better than I expected. They actually handle really well in the dry. My next go around whenever that may be I will be going with a rugged terrain tire; something that is damn near a mud tire but not quite.

Random thought that I've had for a while and wonder if you guys think there's any truth to it. I wonder if there's any correspondence with weeping and or leaking seals and people who turn the key and immediately drive away. All kinds of surfaces and materials expand at different rates and if you are heating the engine up super fast maybe the seals have to work double time?

I could see it being a factor. I also think sitting for extended periods of time is bad for an engine.

I tend to let the engine run for 10-15 seconds before putting it in gear, and then I take it easy until it reaches regular operating temperature. When it's colder, I give it a little more time before driving off.
