    I'm gonna voice an unpopular opinion here...

    Cordless tools are fine for convenience and the occasional job when you don't want to run a cord.
    Harry Homeowner loves 'em.
    But they aren't for serious work.

    Mind you, I've worn out a lot of cordless tools and even more batteries while trimming houses.
    A cordless drill is just the thing for installing locksets all over a house, for instance (without having to drag a cord around).

    Those batteries are expensive and the tools far less powerful.
    But the cordless tools have their uses... :notsure:
