Hauled over 600 pounds of dirt on Monday for a garden the wife and I put in our backyard. The ride was nice and smooth but man were those leaf springs as frowny faced as they can get:(

Maybe the money we save by growing our own veggies will help cover the cost of new leafs… Yeah, I doubt it too…

I wanna know how you even calculate what to build a Portal Tacoma
glad the portals even exist and hopefully stick around by the time i win lottery

what I mean is, their IG had a post saying gear reduction on their portals turns a Jeep stock 4.10 into 5.00

so if a Tacoma owner had a strong axle with 4.88’s in it already
Then went to add portals, would it make their ratio too high?
Forcing them to go back tearing into the diff to regear it to some stock crap 3.73 ratio?

Nope. I did this multiple times to different cars. The worst part for me, was taking the headlight out or the truck…..and then adjusting the light output. (Higher, lower, side to side). But even that was not that hard.

baking them, I just do 225 degrees for like 5-6 min and that’s plenty enough.

    Gentlemen,
I have to give a real review of this shift knob. After Toyota replaced my frame 3yrs ago my stick was out of line. I don't grind gears and I didn't @ that time, but it bothered me. So I purchased the URD short shifter and replaced the plastic thing over the shift ball in the tranny. It was so nice and crisp, I loved it ALL EXCEPT FOR REVERSE.....TALK ABOUT DIFFICULT. There is a complaint on TW about people breaking the inner ball on the bottom of the stick....THIS IS THE FIX.....REVERSE IS NOW LIKE BUTTER!

So my factory leather shift knob was almost completely worn through, so I was looking online for new shift knobs and I found the greatest shift knob for my URD sts. My reverse is smooth as silk and it is the correct weight to which the URD sts needed.

It is solid metal AND huge AND you can get different color alan head screws for effect as inlaid. The thing only is if you live in COLD temperatures.....it's cold to handle @ first.

They have them for auto and manual. Mine was $110, BUT COMPLETELY WORTH IT.

Helped my uncle with some work in his backyard, my other uncle also swung by to lend a hand. We were all parked on the street so I had to take a pic of our tacos in a nice single file line.
