Happy Friday everyone. I traveled back home on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. I didn't bring any cats home with me, but I left a large bag of food for them.
Thursday I delivered some China to a cousin that recently moved back here, it was being stored at her mother's house in Glendale AZ.
Today I'm putting some wax on my daughter's new Tacoma. I'm a little more than half way done.
I'm going to go pick up a new pew pew this afternoon. Bersa Thunder .380
Nebraska passed law no permit required to conceal carry but doesn't go into effect until September.
Recon I'll still pay the $50.00 renewal fee for my permit if that's still possible. It works as a permit to purchase too.

I'll search the TW forum later; had my daughter order some mud flaps but they don't work w/out the fender flares. Bad on me because I didn't realize it didn't have the flares. Dang it, she missed the return window to return them too.
Hope everyone is well. Congratulations @Cwopinger on the new twins.
It's difficult to catch up on all the happening when your gone for 5 weeks.

The kid has finished his last final of his freshman year, is back home for a month and a half then moves into his college apartment.

He's working and taking Calculus 3 this summer and if all goes according to his plan, he might be graduate a year early. Which is crazy when there are so many lately that are taking 5 years for a 4 year degree.

It's also a good idea to maintain your CC permit for reciprocity with other states should you do any traveling to states that recognize Nebraska's permit.

He should look into CLEP testing. They are a fraction of the cost of a class and if you already know the material it's worth taking the test. I think summer classes in college are great, I did year-round schooling when I went to college. Though I was in my 40s, for young people, I'd say not to miss the "College" experience trying to get through it too fast.

This right here. For example, if you paid for the college class Macro Economics, you would take the Micro Economics CLEP since the coursework is very similar. Or just tell your kid to enlist in the armed forces. If that aint workin' thats the way you do it. Money for nothin' and your CLEPs for free.

With the majority of his classes being hard sciences that build on each other and are starting to concentrate on his major, I doubt he'd even want to do that.

For the AAS degree I got, I probably could have done that but I still got out 6 months early.

With my hours working and then some quality time with family for 5 days after, I was pretty busy. But looking back wish I would have thought to invite @wilcam47 over for food last Sunday.
At least I believe he's down in AZ somewhere.
Just got a txt from friend..time to pick up pistola

Thanks Toe. Good to see you back.

Look at the Rok Blokz brand mud flaps, they are pretty universal, no flares needed. I have them on my Tacoma and they have worked well.

Tonight is lube night for my 21 tacoma. Mobile 1 75-90 ls for the diffs. Amsoil manual transmission fluid for the transmission. And a wix with some mobile 1 for the engine.

Forgot to stockpile enough gear oil for the diffs. Walmart ho!
