I have 285/75r16 right now, and I am debating on going to a 265/75r16 to try and improve my ride, mpg, etc... so i am trying to see what'll look like so I want to revive this tpoics...

I don't know if you have said this later on yet but what all upgrades do you have in that setup to achieve the 2.5" lift, that is the exact look I want.

Just upgraded my 2016 Tacoma TRD Pro with 2" ToyTec lift (Eibach), 275/70/17 BFGoodrich KO2's and TRD Pro wheels done by Larry Miller Toyota. Very happy with the looks and improved ride.

I have 265/75/16 on a 2.5” lift upfront and 1.5” block in the rear.

I have a base 06 Tacoma and I’m putting TRD shocks which give me a 1 inch lift (if i’m correct). I’m also doing a 3 inch spacer on the front and back which should put me roughly 4 inches.

I want to go with some bigger tires probably 32s or 33‘s.

I’ve heard a lot of mixed messages about tires. I will be doing a lot of overlanding but also highway driving, plus I live in the Northeast so there’s always ice and snow.

I know it’s hard to find a tire that can do everything but I’d love some suggestions.

4 is pretty extreme. I would NOT add the spacers it will make your ride pretty harsh. Just go with the 32" tires and see how you like it.

if you are 4 wheel drive, your cv’s are not going to like a 4 inch lift.
