It’s an 01 so it’s got the chromoly frame too which is nice for the vibrations. Unfortunately the guy who did it just runs his own shop and this was personal project for fun so nope. But the bike is so clean just by looking and listening.

Bill of sale too which stinks. Don’t exactly know how getting a new title works for it actually. Nevada is more chill abt offroad only stuff anyway

Maybe something more cushy like a dual sport will be more fun for you? IMO they are the best balance of dirt and street for cost to fun and versatility.

My wife (back when we were still kids and before we were married) got pissed at me for doing a wheelie at a light accidentally beating a civic full of teens. :anonymous: ah to be young and dumb again.

Though everytime I leave to go ride and my son is watching me leave I do a wheelie as I do. I'm sure my neighbors hate it but fuck it he thinks I'm the man and that's what matters.

I just got too far into MTB to go back to being on a bike and having to move my feet around. I shoulda tried getting a new shifter peg for my yz and maybe adjusting the rear brake. Cus the way they’re set I’ve gotta take my foot entirely off the peg to use them. And mountain bikes the second ur foot leaves that pedal unless you’re doing some big air tricks, it’s crash time.

not to mention I’ve grabbed front brake a few times thinking it was rear brake since mtb rear brake is right hand lol

Edit: I’m also dirt only. Parents will boot me off health insurance if I get a road bike

I’m abt to buy a 5k used mountain bike yep it was like 9k new lol. but having a 38 mm fork on a bike that weighs 34 pounds vs a 48mm fork on a 250 pound bike is kinda insane.

Edit: also if someone is a “mountain biker” and they ride a hardtail with no rear suspension, they’re either insanely skilled, or only ride cross country like a lil puta and should basically be riding road.

Dirt jumpers are it’s own class but those guys are rad too

I was just messing around too. Definitely didnt cover rear brake. Cost me $35 when i looped it. But now i know. (Plus the AT has wheelie control, so maybe it will never happen again)

I spent almost half of my working life on night shift so sleep is very important to me. My neighbors where I live now, when they moved in and I met them I told them my work hours and asked very politely that if possible would they hold off on cutting their yards until after 2:30 in the afternoon and without exception all of them extended me that courtesy. The least I could do in return is try to leave quietly later in the evening and now on day shift in the mornings.

Color me triggered. That’s a broad net to cast there. I’ll have to tactfully, and strongly, disaggree with you.

I’ve never met someone riding legit trails on a hardtail that wasn’t a beginner or an absolutely incredibly skilled rider

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
He’s not old like us, before dual suspension existed :)
