Had the truck for 2 months and Colorado hail went and did its thing already, sigh. No glass damage and overall it isn't terrible. Not the worst, and not concerned about the roof. Will probably just try to find a tan hood to throw on and maybe a front driver fender eventually. Anyone have those laying around they're looking to sell? o_O

Damn, sorry to see that. Saw some pics of massive hail down a bit south of me in Longmont, Berthoud etc. Somehow managed to dodge the worst of it a bit further north…

Glad you managed to avoid it! I'm glad mine isn't worse. I do have full coverage but since it's a 24 year old truck, I went with a pretty high deductible and some hail shops said they won't even touch cars this old. The closest match I found for a hood is in Joplin, MO and I'm not TERRIBLY upset over this, just annoyed. I think what I'll do is order an at-home PDR kit and give it my best when I have free weekend hah.

Wife's Highlander and my Ram came out on the losing end a few weeks back here in the Houston area, of all places, she just got hers out of the shop, it's a 2016 and the Ram goes in this next week, it's a 2018, has a little less than 400 dents according to the estimator.
My Tacoma came out dent free, go figure.

Isn't that nuts? I got fairly lucky. There's nothing visible on the bed or below the belt line, two dings on the front driver fender, the hood got the worst of it and I don't care about the roof because at 5'6" I can't see it anyway haha! Just ordered a DIY PDR kit that was well-reviewed on Amazon, will give myself a nice weekend project.

Paintless dent removal might be able to help. We just got hit pretty hard here in Northern IL and there's signs on every corner saying "hail damage repair" where they are doing PDR. Maybe you could go get an estimate.

I might have someone look at it just to see what their estimate looks like, but I doubt I'll want to pay what they're gonna ask and I'm kinda looking forward to trying this PDR kit myself. If the damage wss a lot worse it'd be a different story haha. Will keep yall posted!

I had about 20 dents removed by an old PDR guy locally. He charged $100 an hour and got it done oerfectly in about 4 hours.
