Bilstein 5100 ride quality

    Hey guys, I recently installed a 2” front, 1” rear block and spacer lift and I like the way it looks but the ride is horrible. I’m thinking about getting Bilstein 5100’s on all 4 corners with stock springs, setting the struts to 1.5”and keeping the 1” rear block. If I do this willit ride as good as stock? If not I’ll probablyreturn to stock suspension,TIA.

    That's my current setup, I can't tell the difference between 5100s and my stock.

    If you go from off road oem shocks to 5100it will be stiffer.

    if you go from every other trim to 5100 it should be very similar.

    That’s exactly what I’m planning on doing and I have the same truck. So there’s a big difference in ride quantity with the 4x4 sport with stock suspension after putting a 2/1 block lift on it? I was hoping there’s no no real big difference

    Yeah it’s not unbearable but compared to stock it’s pretty bad, bad enough that im willing to spend an extra $500+ to get a smoother ride.

    I didn't plan on doing any leveling lift, but the wheels were available, and of course I had to get them and mount them. These are 275s, and they have some minor rubbing at full turn in reverse, but nothing I can't deal with.

    I test drove several Tacomas before getting my Sport. TRD lift kit installed with the 5100’s all around and I think ride is so much more forgiving than stock Sport
